Portals: Living Pathways to unknown destinations
Portals are known as secret ‘living pathways’ between the realms and the Upper Stream and the Temple of Enos energetically powered by Weka. In the same manner that Time and Space exist as a construct of life, and the Temple of Enos exists as a repository of knowledge, so exists the Portals as the most intimate connection with Weka.
Significance of Portals
Portals exist in strategic geographic places which enable players to jump or relocate to other locations across time, space and through Weka itself. Gaining access to these locations is often not possible in any other way. Learning how to activate a portal will give you access to locations which are sometimes considered inaccessible, forbidden or sometimes have simply been forgotten.
Most importantly, portals are treated with reverence, as those who gain access to portals may access places otherwise unimaginable to the player.
Their link to Elements
They are believed to be closely intertwined with various forms of the most essential Element, Water. It is said that those who have achieved higher levels of consciousness can interact with Weka in ponds, streams, mist, waterfalls, and other forms of water to portal places.
Their link to Sanctuaries
It is often said by the Ancients that portals exist within the revered Sanctuaries, but only for those who are skilled, worthy and blessed enough to gain access to one.
Activating Portals
It is most unfortunate that not all who have attempted to activate a portal have lived to share their experiences later. It is said that those who force their way into a Portal, may not live to tell their experiences, but others believe that you may cross into another realm or place.
